Pros: Pays for many spays and neuters and transfers animals out of the City of Ellensburg Shelter
Cons: never enough money or volunteers to fill the need
I love this rescue it has done so much for the City of Ellensburg and Kittitas County. We have tried so hard to keep the money coming in for altering animals of low income pet owners and helping people with emergency vet bills. Sometimes we are just pray the funds will come in to cover the costs. We've also put a lot of energy into transfering shelter dogs and cats to other rescues in the Seattle area that have a larger population of people. Another thing we did was to rally people to show the City of Ellensburg that the public cares about the shelter and the humane treatment treatment of animals.
