Pros: dedication and willingness to go the extre mile is unsurpassed
Cons: they really could use additional suppport from the community
This is am amazing organization. I first encountered them when I saw signs around town advertising their trap/alter/release feral cat program. I was able to trap three feral cats at my boyfriend's farm, have them vaccinated, ear clipped, altered, and released with their help. It was amazing! My boyfriend also "adopted" two other ferals to release with the ones we had caught so to create a sustainable feral colony. Some of the other amazing things they do include working with our local municipal animal shelter to find homes for shelter animals, greatly reducing the need to animals to be euthanized. Without their help and dedication, the Ellensburg Animal Shelter would not be able to accomplish the wonderful things they do and be able to make the changes they have over recent years. I would encourage anyone who is able to support this rescue. They do so many wonderful things, and definitely can use help with funding, donations of goods, as well as volunteers. What they accomplish is limited only by what they have to work with -- if more people were able to provide support in any way they can, they would be truly unstoppable!
