When I was still in Junior High I spent some time volunteering at the Chico Cat Coalition, it wouldn't be until now some seven or eight years later (if I remember correctly) that I really realize how much these people do for the cats. I remember scooping a lot of litter boxes, spending time with the kittens (upstairs), socializing with the various cats most of whom liked to climb up into the rafters of the barn like facility, and I also liked looking at the cats who preferred the outside area (where most feral cats would be). I am sad that I didn't volunteer for longer to help out but like I said at the time I didn't realize how important the work of the Chico Cat Coalition was and now I HOPE THEY NEVER GO AWAY! I urge anyone who likes cats to make a donation!
