While Bad Rap is located in the Bay Area of California, their reach goes much further. Their Web site is one of the best resources for pit bull education that exists. As one who has two pit bull companions, fosters pit bulls, and does adoption counseling at the Bloomington, Indiana animal shelter, I have found the site valuable both personally and as a resource for others. If anyone tells you pit bulls are bad dogs, refer them to this site, where they can see pictures and read stories of loving pits with children, and with their families. This site has a great history of the breeds that have been called "pit bull," as well as a great deal of educational information, adoptable dogs, and stories of successful adoptions. It lifts you up to read this site. I ordered my holiday cards there--they have lots of cool products, including an awesome calendar, and the sales go toward pit bull resuce. One of the best rescue groups out there!!!
