Supporting Shelter: Mile Hi Humane Society

Supporting Rescue: Rocky Mountain Alley Cat Alliance

Pros: provides MUCH needed assistance

Cons: not well known

I noticed that there was a large number of wild cats in my neighborhood, and I called several places to find out what to do about thses cats. Every place I called said to trap the cats and they'd come get them and euthanize the animals. I finally found Rocky Mountain Alley Cat Alliance, they are the only organization in the Denver area willing to let the cats live and provide ample support to those willing to help. I started helping a feral cat colony that lives around my neighborhood, and Rocky Mountain Allley Cat Alliance was a HUGE help in my efforts to help these cats. They taught me everything I needed to know to do TNR, to catch and tame the kittens, and to educate my community about these cats. They provide free shots and spay/neuter for the animals, they are excellent.
