I have been to both the pignic and the open house and had a blast at both events. Everyone is super nice and are all there for the love of pigs.
Animal Shelters can be extremely stressful on guinea pigs and their specific care requirements may not be met. The Critter Corral's series of foster homes allow the guinea pigs to be in a quiet home environment, while getting the proper care that they need which is one thing I like most about this rescue.
I adopted my first rescue pig from the Critter Corral this past weekend and I couldn't be more happy with the way things went. I'm so glad I found out about this organization because I now have a more humane way of finding my favorite little exotic critter.
