Pros: It's a Quality Over Quantity Dog and Cat Rescue, so the knowledge about the animals they have is outstanding!
Cons: Again, because it's quality over quantity, sometimes you have to have a little patience to find the animal you want.
Young At Heart Pet Rescue is a 501c3, all-volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of mature and senior dogs and cats aged 3 years and older.
YAHPR was founded in April of 2005 in response to the thousands of wonderful, adoptable dogs and cats that are euthanized in the state of Illinois each year simply due
to their age.
We invite you to join our effort to reduce the euthanasia rate of older, adoptable dogs and cats in our area. These dogs and cats have so much love to give, but they need our help. They need our voices, our hearts, our homes.
What can you do to help them?
Adopt. Foster. Donate. Volunteer.
One person can make a difference. You can make a difference in the lives of older dogs and cats. Our rescue is made up of individuals saving the world four paws at a time.
