Wonderful Guy

Pros: nice, helpful, willing to drive the distance
Cons: mostly weekends
The Doggie Transport Guy (www.doggietransportguy.com) is a wonderful person. He is willing to drive dogs from shelters and/or rescues to either another rescue or their adopted home. He has driven as far as 8 hours in one direction.
Located in Central Ohio, he is close enough to go to Indianapolis, Detriot, Pittsburg, Border of Canada, Chicago, and just recently to North Carolina.
He does not charge for this service. He does ask if you can donate a little for gas.
It is nice to know the dog is in good hands and does not have to be stressed from going from one car to another car.
The PeT Cruiser is big enough in the back with the back seat out to haul several dogs. He is equiped with carriers, extra leashes, water bowls with bottled water, poop bags and treats.
