Pros: They help some animals

Cons: They kill way too many of those same animals..

This Humane society has really shocked our city. We really had a lot of faith that this organization was doing what they said they were doing. They lied to a lot of people about their policies at this shelter. I was told by a staff member that they only euthanize animals that are ill that can't be treated, or animals that were on the verge of death. This person may not have known the truth herself, but i must say that the article in the plain dealer really revealed alot about the people and the organization.

The fact that the people who run the shelter make so much money and give so little back makes me even more angry, they really don't have the best interest in the animals at heart. I have heard some awful stories, especially reading some of the comments. It is a shame that this shelter is so corrupt, they really need a solid turn around. They will never re-gain my support that is for sure. I donate the money I donated to them to other no-kill shelter that are truly dedicated to the animals.
