People-4-PAWS Florida, rescues abandoned, surrendered, abused and unwanted animals. We specialize in puppies and dogs with special needs.

Once an animal is in our care, we provide all the necessary medical care an animal may require. From basic wellness to fixing major medical needs. All our animals receive their vaccinations and spay/neuter.

Before we adopt an animal we make certain that they are well socialized and are well on their way to over coming any behavioral issues they may have developed as a result of the condition of their lives prior to coming to us.

At the moment, all of our animals are kept in foster care homes. This helps them to be ready for their 'forever' homes. They get use to the rhythm of home environments, i.e., the sounds of TV's, dishwashers, vacuum cleaners, other animals, etc. This is very important when dealing with animals that may never have been introduced to the sounds of a real home.
