This shelter has improved so much. Gone are the days of bullet-proof glass and high-kill status. These folks are working so hard to remain open-door and no-kill, an almost impossible task. Located in a rough area, they still get out there and walk the dogs and go out and meet the public. Very hardworking volunteers and staff. Large facility, remodeled several years ago to make it more airy and customer friendly. Even added a low cost clinic for shots, etc.
