I have a lot of respect for this well organized and very proactive and effective organization. Just looking at their websites, their events, etc. . . you can see the dedication. I have met people from this organization many times at events and off-site locations. They are always so willing to talk about their organization and the plight of greyhounds. In nearby Wheeling WV, there is a huge greyhound racing track. I believe it's the largest one in the USA? So GHG goes out and rescues as many of these retired, unwanted, or "loser" dogs as possible from the track and keeps them in foster care until they find a forever home. I know many people who have adopted from them and are so pleased with them, and I also am always meeting people when I walk my dog at the local park who have GHG dogs. I am so grateful for Going Home Greyhounds, a truly great group.
