Review Details
After raising two kids and not having a dog since I was a teenager, our family decided to adopt a dog that needed a home. We received an email and picture of a cutie with an eye injury that just pulled our heartstrings. We couldln't meet him until he was well on his way to being healed. And when that day finally came, after many calls and emails, we got to meet and eventually adopt Guiness, our third child. We couldn't believe how thorough Little Shelter was with the process, so they could be sure this young pug was getting a good home. We got to walk him and play with him and take a day or so to make sure he was the one for us, as the shelter did to make sure we were the home for him. The staff all seemed to know every dog/animal there. Volunteers come and walk the dogs and its like they love being there because its so much like a home to them. I reccomend this shelter to everyone I know when they want to adopt. And everyone has been happy. Even after the adoption with helpful hints to help the transition to a new home go well. We couldn't believe someone would give up this beautiful dog and best friend. I'm grateful that Little shelter was able to take him in when he was injured or we never would have had the opportunity to love and be loved by this wonderful dog.
