Margo for Animals is dedicated to providing services and support to local animal rescue organizations and education to the public to promote responsible animal care and the prevention of cruelty to animals.
Margo for Animals is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; more specifically but not limited to:
Offering support and resources for local animal rescue associations:
• Provide best practice business guidance and support to animal welfare organizations.
• Procure high quality animal food and related supplies for rescue, shelter and sanctuary animals.
• Offer technical guidance, web and computer support reduced cost.
Resource to the public including:
• Refer those wishing to acquire a pet to the local rescues while explaining the disadvantages of purchasing an animal at a pet store.
• Stressing the importance of neutering of all companion animals to address the national problem of too many animals and the shameful killing of millions of healthy dogs and cats.
• Referral resource for pet owners regarding medical care for companion animals.
• Referral resource for pet owners regarding animal behavior and problem resolution.
