An undaunted cat rescue organization

posted 6 years ago

This organization has for years saved, rescued, trap and released and relocated thousands of free roaming cats in this county. They have done it even through the years that ferals were much maligned and when they were treated like criminals for doing it. They never wavered in their efforts. WE have them to thank for a much reduced population of town cats and they did it by saving their lives not killing them . Thank you Project Purr.

Pros: The cats meow in the rescue world

Cons: none

Helps the feral population in santa cruz area

posted 6 years ago

project purr holds two huge yard sales each year to benefit the feral cat population in santa cruz. it's too bad there aren't more vets willing to neuter and spay the feral population at a low cost. if only owners would understand what happens when cats overpopulate.

Pros: does a good job helping the feral cat population

Cons: just getting the tip of the iceberg
