We are the largest donkey rescue in the United States. In addition, we have rescued many other types of animals, including: bison, llamas, goats, pigs, cattle, horses, poultry, sheep, and reptiles. Our mission is to improve the plight of the American donkey through rescue, sanction, and education. Peaceful Valley is a professional rescue organization funded entirely by private donations. All donations are tax deductible under IRS 501(c)(3) ID#77-0562800.

PVDR is the best!

PVDR is a wonderful place. Owners Mark & Amy Meyers have done a great job and continue their good work.
Rachael has also done a great job with the Wild Animal Refuge, newsletter and blog.
Everyone up there is awesome! It is great to be able to go up there and volunteer. The donkeys love it - as they get some grooming out of the deal.
I can't say enough good things about PVDR and the staff.
Pros: They save the donkeys and other animals!
