Catmandoo Rescue

I adopted a Kitten from them, when they were at the PetCo in Westchester! This poor kitten has been on 3 rounds of antibiocitc's, has been to the vet every week since the adoption, they still have not found a antibiotic strong enough to kill off the infection the kitten has! They should not be allowed to rescue nor charge for their service's, I have spent already close to $2,000.00 in vet bills and the kitten is still very ill! It is a shame they are giving legit reduce organizations a bad name! Now question we need to ask is what about the other kittens/cats that were in the same cage are they as ill, are the people who adopted them taking care of them or just throwing them out as so many people do! I am researching and contacting a lawyer so they lose their license since they don't seem to care about these animals more about the animal they collect for the adoption fee! They should make sure all the kittens/cats they are adopting out are not seriously ill, they said they ran test on this kitten, when I showed the paper work to my vet he stated they ran the test at such a found age of course it would come up negative! For those of you who love animals and can't stand to see them suffer please do not support this group since it appears they do not take care of these animals before finding homes for them!

I found a dog listed by this rescue on petfinder.com. I attempted to contact them via the phone number listed on their site to find out if the dog was still available. I live several hours away from Culver City and wanted to make sure hadent already been adopted before I made the long drive there, I have e mailed twice and called four times over the course of a week, explaining that I simply wanted to know iif the dog was still available. I know that I reached the right phone because the contact name on the web site and the name on the voicemail were the same. No one has called, texted or e mailed me any information. I even called the pet store where they hold their addoptions. I was told that they were still there and they would go and get someone from the rescue for me to talk to. I waited, only to be hung up on 3 times, put on hold for 15 minutes and then told that the lady who runs the Catmandoo Rescue was gone for the day. Seriously?! How difficult is it to return a phone call? An e mail? SOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!

Pros: they rescue animals

Cons: apparently they dont know how to return phone calls. Why bother puting contact information on your website if you can't return a phone call or e mail?
