My daughter has adopted 2 dogs from ASHRA and they are both wonderful. She became a volunteer with ASHRA after adopting the first one. I can't think of a better way to get a dog than through such a terrific organization.

I got involved with this group after adopting a husky from them. I was so impressed with the dedication of members to training and ensuring dogs are able to be placed in forever homes. Subsequently, I have fostered and adopted another husky from them. They are both wonderful dogs. If you're looking for a husky, there's no better place to get one from.

Pros: Great people, great dogs
