I thought I could handle adopting a dog but with so many cats myself I could not. I chose instead to donate/sponsor a dog I saw on their site. They did not hold it against me when I couldnt make up my mind. I ended up not adopting, but if I ever found it possible to provide a permanent home to a dog, I would first go to this kind and caring group.
Pros: Caring,kind and compassionate
