Southeast Texas Labrador Retriever Rescue

Before moving to New York I volunteered for STLRR, They are an amazing group of people in Houston who save many many labs every year. Labs are the most common dog found in Houston Shelters - On any given day you can walk into any facility there and have your pick of pure bred labs. The wonderful and caring volunteers of STLRR have no facility and work thru foster homes only. Some volunteers have upwards of 3-5 foster dogs at any time. They treat their fosters like members of their families until the right home comes along.

I fostered quite a few dogs for them - I ran dogs to and from the vets offices, did home visits. I miss my work with them.

They are a wonderful rescue and I wish them nothing but sucess!!
