Great for cats

posted 5 years ago

This is a fantastic network of people across the country who help rescue purebred cats. Transports of cats are arranged and the various "legs" of the journey are filled by volunteers driving one or more legs to the next volunteer until the kitties reach safe haven.

Pros: A great group of people

Cons: none

Helps CMHS purebreed cats

posted 6 years ago

I haven't worked directly with this rescue but CMHS does contact them frequently about taking certain cats. They usually take Persians, Siamese, and Himis mainly from CMHS but sometimes others as well. CMHS takes them to the vet clinic at Marshall and they go to their prospective rescues from there. They are especially helpful when they can take cats that don't show well at the shelter or have issues/problems that only a person that knows the breed would be able to deal with.

Pros: Works with shelters to rescue purebred cats

Cons: space
