A Pet's Best Friend

posted 5 years ago

The two founders of this rescue are the most dedicated people you will find. They are well organized and take care of all aspects involved in animal rescue. When you adopt an animal from Happy Tails, you know it has had a medical workup to cover any problems that might exist. They also make sure the animal is socialized and ready to go to a forever home. If an animal is not able to be socialized, they will keep it in one of their foster homes for the rest of it's life. They are a no-kill organization. Each week they have a column on pets in the Tribune. They are written by various people involved in the organization. I love to read these each week and wish all pet owners would too. You can not find a better rescue in the state and in my opinion, in the country. They are the best.

Pros: Everything they do is excellent.

Cons: No cons.

Separation anxiety never an issue.

posted 5 years ago

Happy Tails is the best not only because they are a no-kill shelter, but also because I know in cases where they get animals surrendered together, they do not separate them but require that the person who adopts must take both animals or three! My uncle adopted two kitties several years ago and as they were together when they were surrendered to Happy Tails, they had to be adopted together as well. Nice work, Happy Tails!!

Pros: All Pros!

Cons: No Cons!

I love this team of vets and their services. They are definitly the prefered clinic for my horse. Unfortunatly, I've moved my horse too far east to make it practical for them to be an emergency vet.
