Midwest Doberman Rescue

I adopted my Doberman from these guys and they are the greatest! They really care, not only about the dogs they rescue, but the perception of the breed as well. I am so lucky to have found my best bud, and be able to provide him a loving, forever home--Even though I am 3 hours away, they found someone from another rescue group in my area to do a home visit--they really try to get these dogs placed in the best environment so that they can thrive and hopefully become ambassadors for the breed wherever they may go!

MWDR is one of the greatest rescue groups ever! If you are looking to adopt a dobie, go to them. :)

Pros: responsible, reasonable, keep dogs in mind, lots of events

Cons: not enough foster homes
