Angel Acres Animal Rescue

I have sent over 2 applications & left "Lisa" 2 voice messages to please let me know if my application has been approved or not. I am really interested in one of their dogs & want one for my family but it makes it difficult if no one will get back in touch w/ you. Maybe you would have more adoptions if you call people back!

We started off by volunteering to be a foster home for Angel Acres Rescue. It was a great experience and I would recommend it for anyone that loves pets. We got to foster "Peaches" and teach her to socialize with our two other dogs as well as at the St. Charles Leashless Park, Dusable Park. We also got to show off Peaches on the TV show, Show-Me Saint Louis as well as assist with other events, Bark in the Park, and Petropolis. It was all a great learning experience and we even got to go to potential adopters homes to see if Peaches would mesh with other families. We eventually decided to add to our litter and adopted her ourselves. What a glorious day! Peaches was always a doll, but it really seemed that she knew that she found her forever home the day we signed the adoption papers. Angel Acres Rescue uses Bridgeton Animal Hospital and we learned by that association just what a great group of vets and staff that BAH has also.

If you love animals and have some spare time, consider volunteering to be a foster for Lisa, you'll be glad you did.

Pros: Such a great organization, we fostered for Lisa and loved the experience

Cons: No cons, unless you count that we added another dog and that was the best of all!!!!!
