Flawdogs Adoption

We adopted our Shelby in September, 2012. She is the best dog ever. She is so pretty, so smart, and so good. It is pretty obvious that she was housebroken with puppypads, because her accidents occur on bathmats or the mats just inside entry doors. I can't believe someone gave this wonderful angel of a dog away. I am so lucky they did.

We adopted a cream sable Pomeranian from Flawdogs. We named her Shelby. We had to train her to become a good family member because she had been mistreated at the puppy mill and was scared. She still has some psychological scars but has blossomed into a loving, mostly-trusting little dog. Flawdogs rescues puppy mill rejects and gives them a chance at having a loving home and caring people for once in their lives. They deserve support and recognition for helping throw-away dogs. It is not easy to adopt some of these dogs, but it can be rewarding if you know how to train a dog and you have patience with them. The biggest downside is that you don't know much about the dog's history because puppy mills don't care about the dogs or their lives. Still, it is rewarding to rescue a dog from a miserable life in a cage to a big backyard, their own bed, and lots of petting. Flawdogs is worth considering if you can care for a puppy mill rescue.

Pros: Sally is an angel. She loves those dogs.

Cons: Don't know much about a dog's history.
