Dirk's Fund Golden Retriever Rescue

Dirk's Fund has been rescuing Golden Retrievers for over 10 years. Some are turned into us by their owners and some are rescued from various animal shelters. All of our critters are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative and flea control. In addition, all of the critters are current on their vaccinations (Rabies, Bordetella and DHPP).

They recently moved into a shelter where before they had none. It's one of a very few Golden Retriever groups that has their own shelter. It's a very nice facility, and pictures are available on their website.

Pros: Clean, modern, has dog-bathing facilities, brand new outside runs

Cons: Would be nice to have even more space for crates and runs
