I think they'd do much better, and would be able to get a bigger better building, if they made it a bit more desireable to send unwanted or abandoned pets there. If an animal is abandoned on the door step Animal Controll is called and they are sent to Rock Island County Animal Care and Control.
Over all, if you can get your pet in there they are garaunteed a very happy and healthy life, but it's a matter of being in the right situation or having the $$ to get your animal there. So, fairly good, deffinatly the right idea.
Pros: They are the only true bule absolute no-kill shelter in the area. If you bring them an animal they will adopt it out or it will live out it's life there at the shelter.
Cons: They want $50 a kitten if you drop off a monther withh kittens. Very small facility.
