Mini Zoo

posted 6 years ago

Critter Camp is a one of a kind place. It's like a mini zoo run by great people. They answer all your questions honestly so you know what to expect from a pet before you get one. They go out of their way to help as many pets and people as possible. I'm excited for the day Critter Camp can expand to house and help more animals.

Pros: Caring and knowledgeable staff.

Cons: Lack of space causing a limit on how many animals they can help.

Critter Camp is an Amazing Rescue/Sanctuary

posted 6 years ago

Critter Camp is a one-of-a-kind pet rescue/sanctuary. All the animals there are very well-cared for and given lots of love and attention. Beth and her staff devote endless hours in caring for these animals. By giving tours of the site, Beth helps educate others about caring for these exotic pets and helps people learn about their habitats, diets, special needs, etc. My kids LOVE visiting Critter Camp as often as they can because they learn so much and get to be up close to the animals and interact with them. It's a fun and amazing place that serves a much-needed purpose.

Pros: Wonderful people, lots of interesting pets to learn about/see

Cons: Space constraints. They are currently working very hard to fund and build a free-standing (much larger) sanctuary.

This sanctuary fills a huge void in animal shelters. The pet species rescued by Critter Camp would otherwise typically been euthanized or let go in the wild to die.
