Cats Cradle, A Cage Free Cat Rescue

posted 2 years ago

This cat shelter broke its strained ties with MinnKota PAAWS once the founder and board of said primarily low cost spay-neuter clinic decided that rescue, re-homing and adoption was no longer part of their mission. Plenty of personality differences and inflated egos on the PAAWS side created a schism for the shelter cats and their dedicated care givers that was too great to be mended. Cats Cradle moved to a new and better location in Jan 2012 where the threat of eviction is no longer present. I expect this cat shelter to only be able to help more cats find loving, permanent homes. The need for a cat shelter and more foster homes for cats is direly needed in this area that euthanizes 60% or more of the cats taken in to the 3 area pounds. Bravo to Cats Cradle!

Pros: Only strictly cat shelter.rescue in Fargo area

Cons: Street parking limited
