Caring staff

I was looking for a dog. The staff knew the temperments of their animals and were very helpful. I have since been checking their website to see what new animals they might have, but the page doesn't change. A very minor thing, but important in getting messages to the public.
Pros: staff is friendly and knows their animals

Really nice facility and GREAT people!

I was there this weekend with the Iowa Alliance for Animals Oakville Cat Project. This shelter gave us the use of their "hospital garage" for spay/neutering 50 animals, mostly cats from the well-managed feral colonies in Oakville.
What a nice thing to do, and done with such grace!
Pros: beautiful setting; caring staff; good sharing
