Thank you for Teeny!

posted 5 years ago

Animal Resource Network, Inc. (best known as ARNI) is a rescue organization based in the greater Lansing area. They are a group of dedicated animal lovers that rescue and shelter adoptable pets in a network of trusted foster homes, and can often be found in local pet stores on Saturdays for Pet Rally, a gathering of adoptable cats and dogs.
What's impressed me most over the years is not only their professionalism as an organization, but their dedication to providing quality foster homes for the adoptable animals in their care.
I found my Teeny at one of their pet rallies in 1998 but was unable to take him home with me right away. His foster mom very kindly agreed to hang on to him for me for a month (until I moved into pet-accepted housing) and let me come visit him anytime I wanted. Typical of the ARNI's volunteers, her house was clean and contained a manageable amount of foster animals - unlike some other foster homes I'd visited in the search for my kitty.
ARNI is a tax-deductible nonprofit organization and can be found on petfinder.com.

Pros: Great group of caring animal lovers

Cons: None
