Backdoor Friends Purebred Cat Rescue

BDF Purebred Cat Rescue is a no-kill rescue completely run by volunteers, including their Board of Directors. Their three step process for every cat and kitten adopted, increases successful matches between families and pets: a 2-page adoption application and approval is followed by an interview with the rescue's president. After Anne Klein has met the adopter, if all goes well, she gives the telephone number of the foster home owner so the potential adopter can meet the cat in his own environment and both the foster parent and adopter can further talk about the cat's needs and personality to insure a good fit.
The last step toward adoption is signing an adoption contract, donating the fee to nonprofit BDF and taking the cat home. Follow up confirms success in the coming weeks and months.
I highly recommend getting a cat or kitten from this rescue. All saved cats are vet-checked first, given necessary shots and tests, neutered and spayed if age appropriate and socialized/cared for in foster homes before adoption.
