Our shelter has worked with Ohio Basset Rescues on several stray bassets in our shelter. We like to get the pure breeds into rescues so we only have to work with getting the mutts homes. Ohio Basset Hound Rescue works really hard to get all bassets out of shelter and into a loving home. What a wonderful rescue group. It is one I am proud to say the HSMC works with.
