Wonderful Caring People

We adopted a dog from All Paws Considered several years ago. She had been shown at Petsmart along with her sister. A couple of weeks before we were to get her both Sage and her sister got very sick. The other puppy died but Nancy and her daughter spent close to $3000 in vet bills (I have the receipts) to nurse Sage back to health. She was taken to vet multiple times weekly for IV's. I was not allowed to take Sage home until she was totally healthy. If memory serves it took close to 8 weeks. Nancy and her daughter kept in constant touch and my adoption fee was the same as any of their other dogs. They only wanted to know that she was going to a home that wanted her. Sage is a mixed breed Aussie/Lab. She is not worth very much in most peoples eyes but thank God she was worth that much to All Paws Considered. She has been the best dog I've ever had. Should they have spent that much to save one little pup; probably not but I am sure glad they did.
Pros: Animals are the first priority

Do not use - There are much more reputable organizations.

I have adopted several pets from various rescues and pet organizations. So I have a great track record and knowledge of these types of organizations.
The way that "All Paws Considered" handle the process was very unprofessional. I saw a real lack of concern for the animals and the people who want to adopt.
I was also amazed that they were upset that we feed our current dog food from PetSmart who they have their adoption days out in front of in Marietta.
I believe their intentions are good, however there are many more reputable adoption organizations who need your help and who care more.
Pros: They are trying to help.
Cons: They are not very reputable.
