I Adopted a Wonderful Pet From This Rescue

posted 11 months ago

I adopted my wonderful little canine buddy from Lowcountry Animal Rescue. He was healthy, clean and obviously loved his foster mom very much. I looked at several dogs before making a decision and each one was clean and well cared for The volunteers were helpful and courtesy even though they were bombarded by the crowd asking questions while they were try to complete my paperwork. These volunteers were working non-stop trying to get to everyone. Most of all, they really cared for the animals and their main purpose was to match each animal to the right home. I would adopt from this organization again.

Pros: Many animals to choose from (purebreeds, large dogs, small dogs, cute mixes)

Cons: Area the stores put them in is very small making seeing the dogs a little difficult.

Wonderful volunteers

posted 11 months ago

I would like to thank this organization for rescuing as many pets as they possibly can. I just adopted a loving little ball of fur on Sat at Pet Smart. I met the foster mom for all the details including his vet info. There were so many cute pets there in need of good homes. The volunteers were very loving and caring and hoped all could find a good home. If you do go to adopt a pet take a friend with you, the paperwork was much more than I expected so my friend got to hold MY dog while I did the paperwork. Pet Smart gives the newly adopted pet owners lots of extra perks and coupons so you will have everything you need when you get home. Their fees are in line with other places I checked out. Do take cash or pay higher fee to charge. Remember this is an all volunteer organization and you are making a donation to all the other animals left behind.

Pros: Truly dedicated to placing animals

Cons: none

This group of people work very hard to place bullies into forever homes. It can be a hard process in these areas. They save a lot of dogs lives. Good job!!
