The times I've been there I've had a good experience. I like that they work very hard to know the critters and not force them on you.
I have mixed feelings about not being able to walk through and see the animals. I see both sides of the arguement.
Overall pretty darn good. They have to deal with LOTS of ignorant backward thinking folks.
Pros: They keep animals awhile
Cons: have to wait to see animals

St.Frances is a forward thinking animal center.They are not there to just house unwanted animals.They work within the community to not only better the lives of the animals but also to educate and enrich the lives of the people who love them.

Wild Heir Labrador Rescue does a great job. They are professional and caring. Without them many great labs would not find forever homes!

The shelter is one of the better ones that I have visited. They also participate in foster programs which is a nice way to keep the animals extra cared for.
