I adopted my second dog from Animal Haven, a female pomeranian named Tatum. The process went smoothly and I couldn't be happier having her in my family with my other pomeranian, Danny. I've also taken courses through Andrea Arden and was very pleased with the instruction offered. Animal Haven also offers small dog play groups which I take my dogs and they enjoy the time spent there. I recommend Animal Haven to anyone who is interested in adopting an animal, be it a cat or dog since I had such a positive experience during my adoption process of Tatum. I would highly recommend Animal Haven for all the services that they offer and the kind and caring staff that work there.

I have taken both my dogs to various classes at Andrea Arden Dog Training in the facility at Animal Haven SoHo (see separate Andrea Arden review). Animal Haven is staffed by caring and knowledgeable employees and volunteers. They have a terrific, large indoor space for training, events etc. I have always been impressed by the enthusiasm and congeniality of the staff during my visits. My dogs LOVE going to Animal Haven. They get excited the minute we walk through the door.

I can really tell the people here care about the cats and dogs that come to them and they want to place them in good homes. They are a no-kill shelter and won't turn away any animals in need! The people are very friendly and the store as well as the cat rooms and dogs corrals are very clean and well-maintained. The boutique sells very cute and useful things any pet would love!
I can't have a pet with me in college, but if I were to adopt another pet it would be from Animal Haven.

They are bringing adoption & rescue to Soho, NY- making people see that adopting a pet is even better than buying one. They have a high-end store with accessories, training & grooming services & an adoption center. Great!!!
