She's wonderful

posted 4 years ago

We adopted our dog over a year ago and she is the gem they described her to be. We have gone back to visit and have made donations to help off set the cost of care. We would adopt from them again. These people really care about the dogs and are only looking for the best possiblehome. They take their responsibility seriously. We weren't happy with how the showings were managed, but that was a small price for the wonderful addition to our family.

Pros: Dog was exactly as described

Cons: All the paperwork to fill out.

Unclear adoption agreement

posted 7 years ago

Unfortunately, there is no clear temperament evaluation done on these dogs and the adoption agreement is very unclear. Read carefully and ask questions.

Pros: Looking for a little dog, this is the rescue

Cons: No temperament testing before adoption

Rocky Top Dog Park

The place is average sized and water in the pond is pretty filthy. Nothing like what they claimed on their website. I guess I would expect better if they are charging for membership.

Whilst this is a great shelter who provide a great and valuable service with a very dedicated staff and volunteers, not all of the dogs they adopt out are adoptable. They still allow dogs through who… more ›
