Cats being returned

posted 2 years ago

While visiting lifeline at Petsmart in Watchung there were cats being returned to Pam!!

I was so embarrassed to see a woman (who I assumed was Pam) walk into the backroom where my partner and I were with a kitten.

I don't leave reviews for animal rescues because the organization is doing the community and the world a service - however Pam was really really distant and insecure with letting her cats go. Once one was let go, it was returned.

Hearing this go on all I could think was "awkward"!!!

Overall - they didn't care that we were interested in a kitten - just more interested on fronting for straight, white couples,

Really backwards lady - for shame!

Pros: None

Cons: Cats were being returned and there is a general prejudice with adoptions
