Better without the pump
Pros: Adds nice decoration to your terrarium.
Cons: The water will overflow even at the lowest setting and make a gigantic stagnet water pool in your vivarium.

I have the Exo Terra Waterfall in my reptile's vivarium. At first it was very exciting and enjoyable. The water then started overflowing and filling the entire vivarium with water. I eventually just took the pump out and my reptile just uses it to bask upon. Adds a great touch to any vivarium.
