Good for maintaining overnight heat

I use the UTH to maintain the base line temp in the beardie cage. It is placed on the bottom of the tank with about 2-3 inches of play sand in the tank. The UTH keeps the tank from dropping too low over night. During the day I have a heat lamp (and UV) to provide basking heat. You just have to be careful that the animal cannot come in direct contact with the heater or the glass above the heater. I have seen burns due to this. Great product when used correctly
