Pros: Great source for protein
Cons: Pet was uninterested
Back before our pet Iguana passed, we had read that it was important that they eat mealworms/bugs to get proteins and other nutrients. However, our Iguana didn't care for them. No matter what we did we would find the mealworms still sitting in her food dish.
While it may not be true for all Iguanas, my families experience has been that they aren't too appealing.

Iguanas are strictly herbivores and should eat NO ANIMAL PROTEIN!!!!
