Through the years,I have kept Gerbils,Mice,Anoles,Gecko's,etc.and I found this screen to work the best because of the door.
I can't tell you how many times a lizard has escaped when using the regular screens.Certain animals/Reptiles are very fast on their feet.I'd no sooner start to take a regular screen off and before I could finish,something was running loose!
The door stopped all escapes from happening.I would have enough room to get my hand in and out and still have the majority of the tank top covered.I would definitely recommend you to spend the extra money if you're looking for a screened top.
