We set up a second aquarium to accomodate a growing fish ;-) Bought a 56 gallon tank and chose this filter on the recommendation of a knowledgeable Petco employee - Excellent choice! I can't believe ho quiet it is, and seems to be working great so far and it's been about 3 months. You can customize to your needs by adding different components (bio material, filtering agents) and maintenance is a snap. My only problem was connecting the tubes to the cannister - I could not for the life of me get them to the recommended 2", and neither could my husband. Still it seems sound, and a very good investment. I'm thinking of buying a smaller version for our 26 gallon tank.
