I decided I would take my Iguana for an outside adventure so I bought this leash & it fit very well, but my iguana did not like it at all & thrashed around for a few minutes before he realized he could not get out of it & then decided to thrash around some more. I tried several more times with no success, but it held up very well to the stress & he was never able to escape. I no longer have the iguana but this leash would work very well if you could train yours to accept it.
