Second Chance needs a makeover!

We have are such a tiny shelter that we can't help as many animals as we need to. There is a long waiting list for surrenders, with new animals showing up daily. If you put four people in any one of our spaces: kennels, cat room, office, surgery -- it's crowded, with interns and vet techs needing to manuever around each other while working. We are bringing dogs up from Kentucky -- reaching out to prevent euthanasia -- so they can be adopted through us. We could save so many more pets this way. M… read more
