My feeling is that whether we win or lose, all the shelters have probably been winners in some way because people like me who donate some years and forget other years, or some who don't even think of their local shelter have gotten caught up in the "competition". I would bet that this has brought in a lot of extra donations and volunteers and that is exactly what the goal of ZooToo was is to gain community and business support to bring together animal lovers and awareness. It is not like a shelter is being handed a million dollars. Twenty shelters have had monetary gains, but hopefully all participants are much better off. I didn't even know some of the people I have been in contact with were animal lovers, so I know there is a new awareness in our community. I know CMHS needs a severe makeover and helps other shelters and rescues in many ways, so bring on the votes. And thanks ZooToo! Read less
