As for when he says He "couldn't imagine how people bond with animals, etc."... I get that a lot with BunBun, my rabbit.
SO many times have I gotten "BunBun is JUST A RABBIT", "He really isn't that interesting", "How could you be "friends" with a rodent?", "Rabbits are solitary, unlovable pests.", "I'd rather have a dog", etc.
When, in fact, people don't realize rabbits are NOT rodents (they are Lagomorphs), and about the 3rd most popular per in America, and are JUST as affectionate, if not more, than a cat or dog- if spayed/neutered and properly cared for.
So... It warms my heart so know someone has changed their outlook on pets. Read Less
