A Beautiful Day for a Beautiful Shelter - DAWS!

I was SO proud of the entire DAWS organization today! It was wonderful to see the entire community come out and support our shelter like that. It made me realize I am a part of a truly special place. It was so nice walking through the shelter this morning to say hello to all the dogs before the activities began. It seemed as if they knew something special was happening today. Oh, this is so sad. At least he passed on in a home. I appreciated the firefighter saying "We rescue lives, no matter how small."
