My family has always been drawn to Shelties. They are a great breed and are great family dogs. We have had 3 Shelties since I was 3 years old and 1 Keeshond. I am now 28. You just have to be willing to manage the fur; and, managing the fur, does not mean shaving. I currently have 1 Sheltie and an American Bulldog/Lab mix who is really a mutt of all mutts. He is probably the sweetest dog I have ever had. All were very sweet, loveable, and loyal. I would not trade any of them! Read Less
